Pioneering Green Chemical Processes through Advanced Systems Thinking

At the Matsumoto Laboratory, we take on the challenge of creating innovative green chemical processes by analyzing process dynamics across micro, meso, and macro scales in a wide range of chemical process systems related to energy and the environment. We integrate analytical insights and modeling to develop next-generation process systems. Our research also explores new systems approaches to building, simulating, and optimizing mathematical models of complex processes and systems. Through this research and education, we aim to cultivate individuals with broad expertise in chemical processes and the ability to apply systems thinking to real-world challenges.
